The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world. Activities in the outdoors are some of the safer forms of enjoyment that are available to all citizens. Fortunately, West Virginia is not short on outdoor activities. For the veterans in West Virginia, you may not know about a benefit extended by West Virginia State Parks called the “Veterans’ Salute.”
The beginning of this year threw us a curveball. With the emphasis on social distancing due to the novel coronavirus, people are itching to get outside, and now that the weather is becoming warmer, it is no surprise that many will begin taking advantage of the wonderful outdoor activities our beautiful state has to offer.
